If you’re a business owner or you have a website, then you need to be aware of a major announcement just made by Google. Google has announced that on April 21st, they will start penalizing websites that are not optimized for smartphones and tablets (such as iPads).
Basically, if you don’t have a mobile version of your website, then it may no longer show up on Google when people search using smartphones and tablets.
These days, almost 50% of searches are made from these devices, and that percentage is expected to increase dramatically over the coming months. By the end of 2015, more people will be searching from mobile devices than from computers!
The bottom line is that you need to make sure your website is optimized for smartphones and tablets before April 21st to avoid losing out on potential leads, customers and sales.
